Since 2022, has been cooperating with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom as a researcher, analyst, and lecturer.
Since 2019, has been cooperating with the “Political Dialogue” NGO as a researcher.
From 2017 to 2023, cooperated with the “Boon” Foundation as Editor-in-Chief of the “Detector” project, researcher, and host.
From 2010 to 2014, worked at the Armenian Center for Strategic and National Studies as a Senior Research Fellow.
From 2008 to 2009, worked at the Eurasia International University as a lecturer in Political Science.
From 2007 to 2012, worked at the Yerevan branch of the Moscow Institute of Business and Law as a lecturer in Political Science.
From 2003 to 2010, worked at the Institute for Human Rights and Democracy NGO as a researcher and program manager.
From 2014 to 2017, pursued postgraduate studies at Saint Petersburg State University, Institute of Earth Sciences, Department of Regional Policy and Political Geography. In 2017, defended his qualifying research thesis and obtained the qualification of Researcher and Lecturer-Researcher.
From 2005 to 2007, completed a Master’s degree in Political Science at the Educational-Scientific Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
From 1995 to 1999, studied at the Faculty of International Relations of the Lazaryev Institute of International Relations and Oriental Studies.
Within the framework of short-term programs, has cooperated as a researcher, speaker, and lecturer with a number of leading international and Armenian organizations, including the OSCE, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center, the Crisis Management Initiative (CMI – Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation), the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the “Peace Dialogue” NGO, the Public Policy Institute NGO, the Union of Informed Citizens NGO, the Paradigma Foundation, among others.
Author of more than one hundred publicistic and analytical articles. Author and co-author of several published research studies.
Research interests include political ideologies, far-right populism, democratization, hybrid threats, civic nationalism, domestic political processes in the Republic of Armenia, and political geography.
From 1993 to 1995, served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
Has participated in a number of peacebuilding initiatives in Track 2.0 and Track 1.5 formats.
